Countdown to China!

Today I woke up and realized that it is about one month until we go on tour to China, I can hardly believe how quickly time is passing.  

This is tpdp’s first tour in China. We will be performing in Guangzhou at the Guangdong Modern Dance Festival – where Robert and I will perform Fading Shadows/Returning Echoes  (by Dominique Dumais) and we will also teach classes for local artists and artists participating in the festival. This engagement has been a year and a half  in the making and now it is right around the corner.

To assist us with our travel plans, we launched an Aeroplan for our Airplane to China campaign. We`re hoping to raise enough aeroplan points to cover our flight costs. It is a considerable expense to fly to China, even for a small tour of 4 people.   I have been deeply touched by the response so far which has included points, transferrable travel vouchers and cash contributions. I feel so fortunate to have such generous people who support tpdp’s work.
