The Countdown Begins…

We are happily digging into our second week of our last phase of rehearsals for Frequency. Next week we move to the theatre for rehearsals and then it’s show week! The energy in the room most definitely contains excitement as all the parts come together and the vision of the piece becomes more clear each day.

The beautiful music is complete and we’re busy setting it to the movement; ghost-like sheer costumes are being fitted and finished; and we’re navigating through our hypothetical set (now composed of bowling pins spotted across the floor!)

With the anticipation of the quickly approaching show and many of our collaborators in and out of the room – Jennifer, Joanna, Mikaël, Susan, Katherine – the air is bristling with excited energy. That doesn’t mean that we’ve given up on our visual creations though! We’ve set to work on our third collaborative painting (the first is featured on the show’s postcard) with serious consideration of going into business together. Any buyers? 🙂

It has been a long and lovely process together and through our coming together on and off for four years we really have built a lovely bond, a unique identity, a subculture all our own. We are so looking forward to sharing it with you. The countdown is on!
