Looking for some digital dance on your March Break? Join us for a week of dance workshops from the comfort of your own home. Participants will be guided through a movement-based exploration, with a focus on dance and physical activity. Sessions will be hosted through Zoom by our talented Swallowing Clouds facilitators.
We will be exploring movement, music, literary arts and more, from the comfort of your own home. All participants are welcome to join us!

Swallowing Clouds, founded by Artistic Director, Yvonne Ng, has been delivering programming with the Toronto Public Library since 2010. It brings professional dancers, authors, poets, and musicians into the community to work with children and youth. Our interdisciplinary approach provides participants with a safe space to express themselves physically, aesthetically, and emotionally.
Swallowing Clouds brings professional dancers, authors, poets, and musicians into the community to work with children and youth aged 8 to 11. Participants are guided through an inspiring creative journey leading up to an exciting final end-of-programme performance (depending on the location). Our interdisciplinary approach provides participants with a safe space to express themselves physically, aesthetically, and emotionally.
Our Swallowing Cloud Facilitators for 2020/21 are: Yvonne Ng, Irvin Chow, Mairead Filgate, Meredith Kenny, Shahla Lafeer, Marie Lambin-Gagnon, Erin Robinsong, Kaitlin Standeven, Olivia Arcangeli, Brandon Valdiva and Laura Cournoyea. Janaki Banting, Sierra Chin Sawdy, and Morgyn Schell are assistant facilitators.
