We Can’t Wait to Share our Work with You…

Opening night of Yvonne’s Ng’s SoloDuet at the brand new Theatre Centre is almost here! We’re busy attending to the final details and ironing out the kinks (what’s a show without a few hiccups?!) and we are so excited to finally show our work.
As always, during these final days and weeks of rehearsal I am left in awe of the magic of collaborative creative process. One of Yvonne’s many incredible talents is her ability to bring together wonderful teams of amazing minds and hearts. This melding always creates something so special and beyond what we could each have separately achieved. Our amazing team includes: Nick Storring, Cheryl Lalonde, Heather MacCrimmon, Simon Rossiter, Erin Robinsong, Marianna Rosato, Johanna Bergfelt, Marie-Josée Chartier, Luke Garwood, Linnea Wong, Mairéad Filgate, and of course Yvonne herself.
Sunday we performed excerpts of the Solo and Duet to a rapt audience of kids and parents of the Swallowing Clouds literacy program that we have been teaching in the Toronto Public Libraries over the past couple of years. It was a great warm-up for Opening.
