Wording in Play

November 12, 2024 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Led by Yvonne Ng, Mairéad Filgate, Meredith Kenny, Janaki Banting with poems by Canadian
author, Erin Robinsong; participants will be taken through fun and playful sound and movement warm-ups, as an introduction to the creative process. Connections between wordplay and
movement will be explored through improvisation, music and sound activities, storytelling games, reading, writing and group discussion.

Youth in the program will explore and develop their own unique artistic voice, helping to create
and shape the workshop. With a focus on building positive relationships, participants build

creation of a new workshop. Offering a window into the world of art making and an
